Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from Haridwar. The 290 km drive to Govindghat winds through the sacred confluences of Devprayag and Rudraprayag, offering glimpses of Uttarakhand’s spiritual and natural grandeur. By evening, you’ll reach Govindghat for a restful overnight stay.
After breakfast, the trek begins from Pulna Village, leading you through pristine forests and alongside the roaring Laxman Ganga River. The 10 km ascent to Ghangaria (10,000 ft) takes about 6-7 hours, culminating in a serene night amidst the mountains.
An early start takes you to the Valley of Flowers National Park, where you’ll obtain your entry permit (₹150 for Indians, ₹600 for foreigners). The 4 km trek opens into a U-shaped valley blanketed with endemic flowers like blue poppies and brahmakamals. Spend hours marveling at this natural spectacle before returning to Ghangaria by 4 PM.
Descend 10 km to Govindghat, retracing your steps through the enchanting Laxman Ganga Valley. The downhill trek (5 hours) is a chance to soak in the Himalayan vistas one last time. Overnight stay at Govindghat.
The return journey to Haridwar (290 km) winds through Joshimath and Devprayag, with a final drop at Haridwar railway station or Dehradun airport.
